Eclipse

When the sun dips into the pool of the ocean

Light will turn into sweet darkness.

And in the dark, shadows will no longer have to hide,

No longer afraid to be seen by prying eyes.

The moon will give glimpse

To those who are athirst,

As one celestial body obscures another.

In an eclipse there is no overshadowing,

Just the obscuration of light

And the beginning of another kind of dark wonder.
