Between the soft silence
of midnight & & &
of early morning
the scintillating sounds
Unannounced
the muse descends.
On paper
ink spills.
In abrupt
disjointed rhythms
Pen moves
skeletons clanging
From a musty closet
leave, let loose
upon a world
unsuspecting.
