Translating the Silence: Yielding Beauty

Translating the silence

That’s what I do

In your cold eyes

I see the inner you.

The woundless air

That you breathe

Suddenly shows you in a form of bare

Simplicity underneath.

Moulding you into something new

When I transcribe the silence

In my mind, I continue

Seeing through your now-spirited eyes.

As your ardent eyes

Speak silently to me

Now, I know why you showed us all those lies

Ago, they took your heart away and bruised your knee.
