Fil (feel, fill)

I’m running out of dreams tonight

What can you do to help?

I don’t know where to turn to now

Each time I need to escape

Far from this depression

Of the soul.

I want to go back to a time

Where eyes set on the skies

For the first time

And marvel at its vastness

Not afraid of the mystery.

I’m running out of dreams tonight

What hope is there for me

The dawn I shall never see

The darkness too long for my wish

It won’t last.

My starvation for freedom

Prepares me for a war within myself.

I am my greatest foe.

My dreams left are nothing but void

Who would fill them in

Of what it once had?

I’m running out of dreams tonight

When shall dawn come to my sight?
